Standard Pillowcase, 20″ x 31″:

Supplies:
- 3/4 yard of fabric for pillowcase
- 1/3 yard of fabric for border of pillowcase
Sewing Instructions:
- Cut the body of the case 26-1/2″ x 40-1/2″ and the border 10-1/2″ x 40-1/2″
- Fold the border in half lengthwise, with the wrong sides together, and press
- Place the right side of the border on the right side of the body of the case. Stitch together using a 1/2″ seam allowance.
- Place right sides of the pillowcase together. Stitch down the side and across the bottom. Turn to the right side and press.
Polar-fleece Pillowcase:

- Purchase 7/8 yard polar fleece fabric.
- Cut a 30″x60″ rectangle of fabric (the bolt of fabric should be 60″ wide).
- Fold the fabric so that the wrong sides face each other and that you have a 30”x30″ square once folded.
- Draw a light line 5″ from the edge with chalk or pencil.
- The line should be drawn on the two sides that are neither the fold nor the selvage:

- Mark strips for fringe 1-1/2″ apart then cut strips up to the marked line along each edge.
- With the strips lying on top of each other, tie the two strips together in a single know as shown below:

NOTE: Make sure to wash the fabric for the protection of the children with suppressed immunity. In addition, please place each pillowcase in its own ziplock bag.
